Times are difficult.
The world is facing a big challenge with Covid-19 and most of us are adapting to this new reality.

A lot of professionals are working from home but unfortunately beekeepers can’t do that. Honeybees demand care and some tasks can’t be postponed.

Social distancing is the most effective method we have to slow down the numbers but in the event you really need to visit one of your operations make sure you follow some guidelines:

  • cover your nose and mouth when you cough or sneeze, either with your forearm or with a tissue – just throw it away
  • wash your hands frequently (for 20 seconds)
  • Avoid close contact with people with respiratory infections
  • Avoid touching the face with your hands
  • Avoid sharing personal items and food
  • promote social isolation.

The elderly and people with chronic illnesses should have extra care.

Apis Technology’s team wishes you happy and safe beekeeping.
